BIOG
In the Malinke language, Dumba means “great depth”. This shows the character of the link that bonds Alkabore Tega Wende, the son of a Burkinan king, and Sini Moulaye, born into the Ivorian hunter caste. It also shows the strength of the currents that have bathed their shores, leaving behind traces of rhythm and blues and Afrobeat, rap, soul music, slam and reggae. These deposits have become the inspirational fare of the two musicians. The alchemy between their energies as well as the traditional instruments’tones have led to these nuggets of generous, cross-cultural music, both tonic and peaceful. Franck de Lavarene |

ZIKETIK Ethical Music The label ‘ZIKETIK’ (for ethical music) was created by Jordy Serras, director of Tatanga Prductions, to help young African groups in the production and realisation of their first albums. A portion of the royalties are donated to the association “Les Enfants de Demain”. |
LES ENFANTS DE DEMAIN The association “Les Enfants de Demain” aims to accompany the children of sub-Sahelian regions on the way to food self-sufficiency. This is done through agro eco logical practices (apiculture, plant nurseries, loans of goats etc). For more information: http://www.lesenfantsdedemain.org |
